- 1 cup root beer (cold)
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup vanilla vodka
- 1/2 cup cream soda
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Maraschino cherries (optional) 🍒

Preparation
Step 1: In a small saucepan, pour the cold root beer and sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the top. Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Warm the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin dissolves completely (do not let it boil).
Step 3: Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla vodka and cream soda.
Step 4: Pour the mixture into mini plastic shot cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
Step 5: Refrigerate the shots for 2–3 hours, or until fully set.
Step 6: Before serving, top each shot with a dollop of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
Notes
- Do not boil the gelatin mixture — it can affect the setting power.
- For best results, chill cups before pouring in the mix.
- Use a measuring cup with a spout for easy, mess-free filling.
