Ice Queen Shots recipe

  • Author: Clara
  • Total Time: 5 min

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 oz vodka (chilled)
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • ½ oz coconut rum
  • Splash of lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7UP)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: edible glitter or shimmer dust ✨
  • Garnish: sugar rim or silver sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

Step 1: Rim the edge of shot glasses with sugar or silver sprinkles (use a bit of lemon juice to help it stick).

Step 2: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Step 3: Add vodka, blue curaçao, and coconut rum to the shaker.

Step 4: Shake until well chilled, about 10–15 seconds.

Step 5: Strain into shot glasses, filling each about ⅓ full.

Step 6: Top with a splash of lemon-lime soda.

Step 7: Add edible glitter for an icy shimmer, if desired.

Notes

  • Chill the shot glasses for extra frostiness.
  • Avoid overfilling—you want the splash of soda to bubble right to the rim.
  • Use high-quality edible glitter for food safety.
