  • 1 oz vanilla bean syrup (or ½ tsp vanilla extract + 1 tsp simple syrup)
  • 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half

  • Vanilla sugar or sugar rim

Step 1: Fill a lowball or rocks glass with ice.

Step 2: Add vodka, coffee liqueur, and vanilla syrup (or extract + simple syrup) to the glass.

Step 3: Stir gently to combine.

Step 4: Slowly pour the heavy cream over the back of a spoon to float it on top, or stir it in for a creamy finish.

Step 5: Garnish with a swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of vanilla sugar if desired.
