Ingredients
Ingredients
-
3 ripe kiwis, peeled and chopped
-
½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
-
2 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
-
2 cups cold water
-
1 cup ice cubes
-
Lemon slices and kiwi slices (for garnish)
-
Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Blend the kiwi
Place the chopped kiwi into a blender along with ½ cup of cold water. Blend until completely smooth. If desired, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds for a smoother drink.
Step 2: Mix the lemonade base
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sweetener (honey or sugar). Stir until fully dissolved.
Step 3: Add kiwi puree
Pour the kiwi puree into the lemonade mixture and stir well. Add the remaining 1½ cups of cold water and mix to combine.
Step 4: Add ice and chill
Add 1 cup of ice cubes directly into the pitcher, or chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Step 5: Garnish and serve
Serve in glasses over additional ice. Garnish with fresh lemon slices, kiwi slices, and a sprig of mint if using. Stir before serving as natural separation may occur.
Notes
-
Fry chops in batches to avoid overcrowding and soggy coating
-
Keep cooked chops warm in a 200°F oven while you finish the rest
-
Gravy thickness is adjustable—add more milk if too thick, or simmer longer to thicken
-
Let the pork rest before serving to retain juices
-
Make sure to stir gravy constantly to prevent lumps or burning
